I just willingly participated in the purchase of a CR-V. It was what my mother wanted to replace her ancient Civic. It’s really very boring.  I’m going to go drive my S5 for a while to wash the boring off.

One saving grace of the CVT:  When you floor it, there’s no futzing around, it just goes. The little 1.5L Turbo is probably a lot of fun in a Fit.

Welcome to the club. My husband likes his car (although what he really want is a Q5). The CRV is the definition of a “car” it does everything fine, but it is automobile as appliance.

The wife and I looked at one and I can’t get over the looks. It has a dumb fish face and the wheels were ugly. I thought the interior was nice, though, and it had some nice touches. But the looks... ugh.

We ended up with a GMC Terrain Denali instead. Nicer, faster, more capable. But it was a fair bit more expensive.

My mom loves her 2016. These are such good improvements. I just wish they came in Mountain Air Metallic like the old ones.

Ooh my mom’s like that with Toyota. Drives me nuts because there’s no real reason for it besides “it’s beca use that’s what I’ve always had”
